EndeavourOS is Arch with a welcome mat. Unlike Manjaro, it uses Arch's actual repositories, so packages arrive at Arch speed and the Arch Wiki applies word for word. What it adds is the missing on-ramp: a Calamares graphical installer that sets up a working desktop (your pick of eight-plus environments or window managers), a helpful welcome app, and one of the friendliest communities in the Arch sphere.

The philosophy is "terminal-centric with a safety line." After install, you are running what is essentially vanilla Arch with light theming, and you maintain it the Arch way, through pacman and the wiki. EndeavourOS simply spares you the bootstrap ceremony and hands you a sane starting point.
