openSUSE Tumbleweed is the rolling release for people who think rolling releases are risky. Every snapshot that ships has passed openQA, an automated test farm that boots and exercises the entire distribution before release. Combined with Btrfs snapshots and the `snapper rollback` command, a bad update is not a crisis: reboot, pick the previous snapshot, and carry on.

That engineering-first culture runs through the whole system. YaST, openSUSE's famous control center, manages everything from partitions to services in one place; zypper handles packages with excellent dependency resolution.
