Hyprland

Flashy Wayland tiling with animations and effects; bleeding-edge eye-candy.

Hyprland made tiling beautiful. A Wayland compositor with buttery animations, rounded corners, blur, and dynamic tiling, it turned the austere tiling niche into the centerpiece of the "unixporn" screenshot culture. Windows glide into place, workspaces slide with momentum, and every effect is configurable down to bezier curves.

Beneath the glamour is a genuinely capable dynamic tiler: powerful window rules, per-monitor workspaces, plugin support, and a config that reloads live as you edit. Development moves fast, which cuts both ways: features arrive weekly, and occasional breakage or config churn arrives with them. It is the tiling WM as an enthusiast platform, and its community energy is unmatched.
